Oh Earth Day … The Count Down begins!

It is just less than three more days before our beloved planet mark its anniversary earth day. So I thought it would be a good idea to discuss the “Go Green” idea for a bit.

Earlier today, I saw a few different polls posted online. The basic question was the same, “What have you done to protect our planet? What’s your plan to make everyday green?” I thought this was interesting…Why? I personally feel that no one should be reminded each year, particularly speaking just on the Earth Day. Everyone are responsible to contribute to make everyday a green world. After all this is a world that we all share. We are responsible to create a green environment, every bit we contribute counts. Be it using a reusable bags, using less electricity, saving water, or even supporting companies that regulates “green beauty”.  Although, you have to be careful on companies that you are supporting too. A lot of companies now and days are claiming to manufacture only natural products. But I highly recommend you looking beyond this, such as whether it is eco friendly, are their packaging bio-degradable?

A lot of companies also renewed their focus on “Green” topic around this time of the year. Whether it is a good time to market or their market becoming more competitive and pressured to go green.

I would love to see a more consistent message throughout the year on going green. We are responsible for our planet, and for the future generation. Let’s start small…and remember every small things you do count. :)
