Refocus Your Mind With Music and Aromatherapy

Here is another tip to relaxation. Recent studies show that music can heal people with illness. But this is not about listening to Mozart (although it helps for some people), it is about practicing or playing music instrument yourself. You can know nothing about music or playing instrument, but the truth is, it is not hard to start playing. Musicians who practice musical instrument have a happy attitude about life. So how does a daily practice of  musical instrument help?  Practicing an instrument helps sharpen your brain and allow you to sync up with yourself; allowing yourself to relax while listening to your own sound.

Some musical instruments that you can look into are guitars, gu zheng (an old ancient Chinese instrument) or also known as the zither, and piano. Of course there are other instruments you can pick, but these are some of our best recommendation.

Find a local teacher or self help books, as practicing music can clear your mind. Once you get into it, While practicing, lit citrus based scented aromatherapy candles around you. Some of the scents you can check out are the lemons, oranges, grapefruit, limes or mandarin. Citrus scented candles have the most refreshing and stimulating properties. It will lift up your spirit and have you refocus within a short time. You may ask why candles instead of essential oils. Aromatherapy candles can deliver a different effect. When you look into the candle, it can have a self hypnotizing effect. The principle of this method is seeing, smelling and put your body in action with the music instrument you pick. When you see, your brain is already on its way to relaxing, and when combined with the aromatherapy scents surrounding the area, you will get deeper into the state of relaxation. And finally, the music you play allow you to sync down and feel the relaxing moments.
